Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not harm your device, nor do they contain viruses, Trojans, or other malicious software.

Information is stored in the cookie that is specific to the device being used. However, this does not mean that we can directly determine your identity through these cookies.

The use of cookies serves, on the one hand, to make the use of our offering more convenient for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited certain pages of our website. These are automatically deleted when you leave our site.

In addition, we use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness. These are stored on your device for a specified period. If you visit our site again to use our services, it will automatically recognize that you have been here before, as well as the inputs and settings you made, so you don’t have to enter them again.

We also use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offering for you (see section 5). These cookies allow us to automatically recognize that you have visited us before when you revisit our website. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period.

The data processed by cookies is necessary for the aforementioned purposes to safeguard our legitimate interests and those of third parties according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer, or a notice always appears before a new cookie is saved. Disabling cookies completely may mean that you are unable to use all functions of our website.

Analytics and Tracking Tools

The tracking measures listed below, and used by us, are carried out based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. With the tracking measures we use, we aim to ensure the demand-oriented design and continuous optimization of our website. Furthermore, we use tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These interests are considered legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

The specific purposes of data processing and the data categories involved can be found in the descriptions of the respective tracking tools.

Google Analytics

For the purpose of demand-oriented design and continuous optimization of our website, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.com/intl/en/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter referred to as “Google”). In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created, and cookies (see section 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as:

  • Browser type/version,

  • Operating system used,

  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page),

  • Hostname of the accessing computer (IP address),

  • Time of the server request,

is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage for purposes of market research and the demand-oriented design of these internet pages. This information may also be transferred to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. In no case will your IP address be merged with other data from Google. IP addresses are anonymized, so that identification is not possible (IP masking).

You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software; however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website.

In addition, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).

Alternatively, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can prevent data collection by Google Analytics by clicking on this link. This will set an opt-out cookie, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website. The opt-out cookie only applies to this browser, our website, and will be stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.

For more information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics, you can refer to the Google Analytics Help (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en).

Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

To statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our site, we also use Google Conversion Tracking. When you arrive at our website via a Google advertisement, Google Adwords sets a cookie (see section 4) on your computer.

These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If a user visits certain pages of the website of an Adwords customer and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can detect that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page.

Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie, meaning that cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of Adwords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Adwords customers receive the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with conversion tracking. However, they do not receive any information that could personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can reject the required cookie placement, for example, by adjusting your browser settings to disable the automatic setting of cookies generally. You can also deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com.” Google's privacy policy regarding conversion tracking can be found here: (https://services.google.com/sitestats/en.html).

In the latter case, you have a general right to object that we will implement without requiring a particular situation.

If you wish to exercise your right to object, simply send an email to service@finanzsoft.ch.

Data Security

During your visit to our website, we use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol in connection with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. Usually, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether a particular page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed key or lock symbol displayed in the lower status bar of your browser.

Furthermore, we use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
